At least she’s not “Tundra”- October 6, 2012
Greyson says I’m a total snob about baby names and that I’m judgmental about what people name their kids. Eh, sue me.
I think I’m justified with this one. This week I heard someone say they had a friend who knew someone who named their daughter Camry.
Me: “So I heard about this little girl named Camry.”
Greyson: “As in Toyota Camry?”
Me: ”I wonder if she has a twin sister named Corolla?”
Greyson: ”Is she Japanese, or made at a factory here in the US?”
Me: ”I’m not sure, but I heard she’s very reliable and fuel efficient.”
Judgmental, yet hilarious. We’re here all week, folks.

you know…sometimes I think people name their kids with these ridiculously obscure names just so they can be THAT much different. Yes, if I had a child, I wouldn’t want my child to have a name that there’s likely to be 5 or more of them in their classes at school, but I’m not going to name them something just to be that much different. Nice post hehe
Agreed! Thanks!
Ha, remember when we were little and I was gonna name my first daughter Nicolette Destiny, lol! I definitely remember you judging me on that one, even back then (although I kinda deserved the judgement, lol)
Ba, ha, ha, ha! That is still one of my all-time favorite memories of you and if you have a daughter I will call her “ND” Ha!
It was cool seeing your Dad a few weeks ago. Wish I could have seen you too!
I really wish I had been able to come down for it, but my son had just started school and it wouldn’t have been a good idea to spend that whole weekend traveling. Next time I’m visiting my mom in Raleigh I will let you know and maybe we can get together!
